The luncheon, held in March, celebrated diversity and inclusion programs and highlighted initiatives implemented by area high school students. Centier Bank, Merrillville, and its associates raised $1,000 in support of The Salvation Army of Lake County through a “Dress Casual for Charity Day” last December. The Salvation Army of Lake County serves approximately 40,000 individuals each year throughout Lake County through feeding programs, food pantries, emergency assistance for utilities and rents, emergency disaster services, youth programs, social service/case work services and more.
