Hoosier Banker 47 DEMOTTE STATE BANK Kent Bierma has been promoted to executive vice president/business development officer. He has been with the bank for 30 years. Among other community activities, Bierma has served as a board member for Northwest Jasper Regional Water District and DeMotte Chamber of Commerce. He attended Calvin College, Purdue University, the Barret Graduate School of Banking, and has completed the Indiana Bankers Association Commercial Lending School. Jennifer Hammons has been promoted to senior vice president/mortgage loan officer. She joined the bank in 2002. A graduate of Purdue University, Hammons volunteers with numerous community organizations. Christopher Kelleher has been promoted to senior vice president/commercial loan officer. He joined the bank in 1999 as manager of the Cedar Lake banking center. Kelleher is active with the DeMotte/Kankakee Valley Rotary Club and has volunteered with the Chamber of Commerce, Boys & Girls Club, and Lions Club. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Saint Francis and completed the Indiana Bankers Association Advanced Commercial Lending School. Scott Osborn has been promoted to vice president/mortgage loan officer, Lowell banking center. He joined the bank in the lending department in 2008. A graduate of Butler University, Osborn serves on the board of directors of the DeMotte Chamber of Commerce. Bonnie Hoffman has been promoted to vice president/security and training officer. She joined the bank in 1980 and has served in nearly every area. Hoffman is active with the Porter County Triad. Jennifer Strong has been promoted to vice president/marketing officer. She has been with the bank since 1986. Among other community activities, Strong volunteers with Junior Achievement. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s College. FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK / Huntington Eric Todd has been promoted to vice president, commercial credit. He joined the bank in 2014 and has 13 years of experience in credit administration, credit analysis and business banking. A graduate of Indiana University, Todd has completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin (UW) and has earned an executive leadership certificate from the UW School of Business. THE FARMERS BANK / Frankfort Jared Glunt has joined the bank as agricultural loan officer. With more than 10 years of experience in agriculture retail sales and diversified crop insurance services, he has served as Indiana claims adjuster and as sales support supervisor-central region for Diversified Agency. Glunt earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. Kathy Ledman has joined the bank as branch manager, Rossville office. She has 16 years of banking experience, serving as a teller, vault teller, customer service representative, assistant manager and branch manager. Carol Ewing has joined the bank as branch manager, Mulberry office. She has 13 years of banking experience, serving as a teller, customer service representative, teller supervisor and assistant branch manager. Ewing attended Purdue University and Ivy Tech Community College. 1ST SOURCE BANK / South Bend Jon Painter has been promoted to vice president. A business banker, he has been with 1st Source for seven years. Previously he served in banking in the Fort Wayne community for more than 15 years. Painter serves as treasurer of the board of directors of Blue Jacket, and is vice chair of the Community Transportation Network board, among other activities. Painter completed the Indiana Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and is a graduate of Purdue University. PNC BANK, NA / Indianapolis Humair Chowdhry has been appointed vice president and relationship manager for business banking, Fort Wayne region. He has more than 10 years of banking experience, including consumer, commercial and SBA lending, and most recently served as vice president and sales manager for The State Bank and Trust Company, Fort Wayne. Chowdhry earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Fort Wayne.
