Kristin L. Pruitt, executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel of Lakeland Financial Corp., the holding company of Lake City Bank, Warsaw, has been named a Top General Counsel by the First Chair organization. The annual awards program honors in-house counsel who have made significant contributions to the DEPARTMENTS Michael H. Head, president, CEO and a director of First Federal Savings Bank, Evansville, has been named to the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection’s Community Bank Advisory Council, which advises the bureau on community bank perspectives. He was one of seven bankers nationwide named to the council in September. Head is a member of board of directors of the Indiana Bankers Association, serving in capacity of ICBA State Director; in 2016, he served as IBA chairman. Additionally, he has been a board member of the University of Southern Indiana (USI) Foundation, Deaconess Health System and Habitat for Humanity of Evansville. Head currently serves on the advisory board of the USI Romain School of Business, the West Side Professional and Business Association, and as treasurer of the St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation board. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana and an MBA from the University of Evansville. Yolanda Davis, vice president and Community Reinvestment Act officer of Horizon Bank, Michigan City, has been honored with the 2018 Community Spirit Award by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis. The award honors individuals who demonstrate dedication to affordable housing and community economic development; FHLBank Indianapolis donates $1,000 to the charity of the honoree’s choice. Davis was recognized for developing creative loan programs and outreach to underserved communities.
