Hoosier Banker 53 CROSSROADS BANK / Wabash Robyn Palmer has joined the bank as vice president commercial lending, Syracuse office. He has 20 years of banking experience. Palmer is a board member of the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, a member and past president of the Warsaw Rotary Club and a prior recipient of the North Webster Chamber of Commerce’s Person of the Year. A certified Treasury professional, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Fort Wayne and an MBA from the University of Mississippi. Additionally he has completed the Indiana Bankers Association Commercial Lending School, the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin and the Kosciusko Leadership Academy. Vickie Guyas has been promoted to vice president mortgage loan officer, Syracuse branch. She joined the bank in 2016 as Syracuse branch manager and has 21 years of banking experience, including retail branch management, consumer/mortgage/ commercial lending, mortgage banking management and as an outside calling officer. Guyas earned a bachelor’s degree from Manchester University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Jeanetta Slabaugh has been promoted to Syracuse branch manager. She joined the bank in 2007 at the Syracuse branch and was named assistant branch manager in 2011. Slabaugh is active with Tour des Lakes, the Wawasee Building Trades advisory board and as a Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber ambassador. FCN BANK / Brookville Jacob Linkel has been promoted to vice president and chief retail officer. He joined the bank in 1997, and his community outreach includes service as treasurer of the Franklin County Community Foundation and as financial adviser for Stayin Alive LLC. A graduate of Franklin College, Linkel also completed the BAI Graduate School of Retail Banking and the Barret Graduate School of Banking. April Berne has been promoted to vice president and chief financial officer. She joined the bank in 2009. Berne has an MBA from Franklin University, is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and earned a leadership certificate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Jaclyn Ludwick has been promoted to assistant vice president of compliance. She joined the bank in 2015 as internal loan review and compliance director. She teaches technology at the Senior Center, is an auditor for the local community choir and volunteers for the Harrison Recreation Commission and an area animal shelter. Ludwick is a graduate of Cincinnati State. Kris Lacy has been promoted to vice president of loans. He joined the bank in 2015 and has been in banking since 1994. Lacy’s activities include the Union County Redevelopment Commission, the College Corner Community Club and Oxford College Corner Free Clinic. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University East. Amanda Godsey has been promoted to credit officer. She joined the bank in 2017, has three years of banking experience and is a graduate of Indiana University. Nick Rauch has been promoted to assistant vice president of credit. He joined the bank in 2012 as a credit analyst and is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis. Dawn Rosenberger has been promoted to assistant retail officer. She joined the bank in 2017 with seven years of banking experience. A graduate of Bethel College, Rosenberger serves on the board of the United Way and as a Children’s Ministry small group leader. FIRST MERCHANTS BANK / Muncie Terri Cable has been named region president for the Fort Wayne market. She replaces William Thatcher, who returned to the Grand Rapids area to pursue philanthropy and volunteerism. Cable has nearly 30 years of banking experience, most recently serving as managing director for the Chicago-based Bank Administration Institute. She also held leadership roles with National City Bank; PNC Bank, NA; and FirstMerit Bank; plus served as an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
