He has been with the bank for 26 years, working in capacities including compliance, loan officer and head of lending. Fawcett assumes the position upon the retirement of Ryan Warner as bank president; Warner remains with the bank as CEO and chairman of the board. FIRST FINANCIAL BANK, NA / Terre Haute Kayleen Judy has been promoted to assistant trust operations officer in trust and asset management. She has worked in the department for eight years. Prior to joining the bank, Judy worked for 30 years at BMG Direct in positions including manager of quality process audits, manager of inventory control and associate director of inventory control. She received a certification in PC programming from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, studied at Ivy Tech Community College and earned designation as a certified securities operations professional. SPRINGS VALLEY BANK & TRUST COMPANY / French Lick John Clauss has joined the bank as vice president and commercial loan officer serving Daviess, Martin and surrounding counties. He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial and retail lending and previously was a bank examiner for the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions. Clauss is a charter board member and board president of Daviess County CEO (Creating Entrepreneur Opportunities), treasurer of Washington Powerhouse, board member of Plainville Housing Corp., and he is active with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ohio Valley and Bethel Mall. Past community involvement includes Junior Achievement of Daviess County and Catholic Charities of Evansville. Clauss was named 2017 recipient of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis Community Spirit Award. He earned an associate’s degree from Vincennes University, a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and has completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Ryan Heim has rejoined the bank as vice president and financial planning manager after prior employment with Kimball Electronics as financial planning and analysis manager. Previously he served Springs Valley Bank & Trust as an investment analyst with the financial advisory group before transitioning to the accounting department as a financial analyst. Heim began his career as an investment banking analyst with Dresner Partners Investment Banking, Chicago. He is a board member of the Dubois County Humane Society, a member of Kiwanis and the Ireland Knights of Columbus, and a graduate of Indiana University. LOGANSPORT SAVINGS BANK Rex Betzner has been promoted to senior vice president, mortgage and consumer lending. He has 13 years of community banking experience and serves as treasurer for the Miami County Chamber of Commerce. Active with youth sports, Betzner serves as varsity assistant coach for Maconaquah Boys Basketball team. THE NATIONAL BANK OF INDIANAPOLIS Mark Bruin has been named president and CEO of The National Bank of Indianapolis and The National Bank of Indianapolis Corporation. Morrie Maurer remains as a member of the board of directors and consultant. Bruin has been with the bank for nearly 18 years, serving the last seven as executive vice president and chief banking officer. Prior to joining the bank, his 37-year banking career included serving as first vice president at both Indiana National Bank and NBD Bank. Bruin has served on various corporate and not-for-profit boards, including LYNX Capital Corporation, Noble of Indiana, Premier Capital Corporation and Tindley Accelerated Schools.
