HB Mark Comer, president and CEO of The Napoleon State Bank, has announced plans to retire effective Jan. 31, 2020. He joined the bank in 1978 as Holton branch manager. John McCreary, Indianapolis regional president of STAR Bank, Fort Wayne, has announced plans to retire at year-end after 40 years in banking. He joined STAR Bank in 2001 after serving in leadership roles for First Internet Bank of Indiana, Summit Bank of Indianapolis, NBD Bank of Dayton, Ameritrust National Bank and American Fletcher National Bank. McCreary has been active in the community through the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, FBI Citizens Academy, Day Nursery, Dayton Art Institute, Wright State University Foundation, Logansport Memorial Hospital, United Way of Cass County, Logansport Cass County Chamber of Commerce, Logansport Economic Development Foundation and Cass County Family YMCA. Ed Cullison, president of Farmers and Mechanics Federal, Bloomfield, has retired after 34 years of service. He remains on the board of directors. Cullison joined the bank in 1985 and was appointed president in 2014. He is active in the community as president of the board of the Greene County General Hospital Foundation and board member of the Utilities District of Western Indiana REMC. Previously, Cullison served for three terms on the Greene County Council. William Morris, president of the Winamac branch of First Federal Savings Bank, Rochester, has retired after nearly 30 years of service.
