Forgey, president and CEO of Schneck Medical Center, has been selected to serve as chairman of the boards of Bancorp. of Southern Indiana and Jackson County Bank, Seymour, effective Jan. 1, 2020. A board member since 2009, he chairs the bank’s human resources committee and serves on the loan, trust and financial planning committees. Forgey joined Schneck Medical Center in 1992 and was named to his current position in 2015. He also has served the center as president/chief financial officer, executive vice president fiscal services/business development, and executive vice president and chief administrative and operations officer. James T. McCoy is stepping down as chairman of Bancorp. of Southern Indiana and Jackson County Bank, Seymour, effective Jan. 1, 2020. He is to remain an active member of both boards. McCoy has been serving on the BSI board since its inception in 1983 and on the bank board since 1973. He was named chairman of the boards in 2005. Clark Kellogg has been elected to the board of directors of First Merchants Corporation and First Merchants Bank, Muncie. He has served as an Ohio region advisory board member for First Merchants in the Columbus, Ohio, area since 2001. A basketball player at The Ohio State University from 1979 to 1982, Kellogg was an NBA first-round pick by the Indiana Pacers, where he played for five seasons. Since retiring from the NBA, Kellogg served as a CBS Sports studio analyst, calling NCAA Tournament games for CBS Sports and Westwood One Radio. Currently, he is a member of the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Competition Committee, and his community outreach includes the United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Heart of a Champion Foundation. Kellogg is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where he served on the board of trustees from 2010 to 2019. Harold Hanley has been named to the boards of directors of Richmond Mutual Bancorporation Inc. and First Bank Richmond. He recently retired as managing director of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Chicago, and previously was employed as CFO of two financial institutions in the Midwest. Angela Coy has been named to the board of directors of Mutual Savings Bank, Franklin. She has been a partner of Compass Pointe CPAs, Greenwood, since 2010 and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. Coy is a graduate of Leadership Johnson County, for which she has served on the board for six years and as president for two years. She currently serves on the Franklin College Alumni Council. Past board service includes the Franklin Development Corp., Johnson County Community Organizations Active in Disaster and the Johnson County Autism Support Group. Coy is a graduate of Franklin College. Lynnette Gray has been named to the board of directors of Mutual Savings Bank, Franklin. She is a partner in the law firm of Johnson Gray & Johnson, Franklin. Gray is a director emeritus of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association; a member of the Indianapolis and American bar associations; past vice president of the Johnson County Bar Association; past board member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; and a past member of the Order of Barristers. She is active in the community through Leadership Johnson County, United Way of Johnson County, 100 Women Who Care, Johnson Memorial Hospital Foundation and Johnson County Community Organizations Active in Disasters. Gray earned an undergraduate degree from Ball State University and a JD from Indiana University-Indianapolis. The following individuals have been appointed to the board of directors of German American Bancorp Inc., plus they have been named to the asset liability finance committee and to the board of German American Bank, Jasper: • Christine M. Ryan is CEO and chief nursing officer of The Women’s Hospital, Newburgh, and administrator for Deaconess Health System pediatric product line. She is a member of the board of trustees of the University of Southern Indiana and previously served on German American’s advisory board for its southwest region. Ryan earned a master’s degree from Indiana University and an undergraduate degree from Elmhurst College, which also awarded her an honorary doctor of science. • Jack W. Sheidler is former chairman of the board of Citizens First Bank Inc. of Bowling Green, Kentucky. A real estate investor/ developer for more than 30 years, he is the CEO and principal of various real estate development and investment companies based in Bowling Green. Sheidler attended Huntington University. • Tyson J. Wagler, a partner in Frette & Wagler LLC, Washington, Indiana, additionally has been appointed to German American’s audit committee. He has 16 years of experience in the accounting profession and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana Certified Public Accountant Society. Wagler serves on the board of the Daviess County Community Hospital and previously served on German American’s advisory board for its west region. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. HB
