Moorman joined the bank in 1984 and has held a variety of positions, including lender, Greensburg-Westridge branch manager and secretary to the board. He is president of the Decatur County United Fund and serves on the Decatur County Water Board. Moorman is a graduate of Purdue University and of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Purciful most recently was senior vice presidentchief financial officer of Pedcor Capital LLC and Pedcor Financial LLC. He began his career with Pedcor in 2002 as a master of arts economics research assistant and later served as assistant vice president-financial analyst and vice president-senior financial manager. Previously Purciful was a machinist mate in the U.S. Navy. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana UniversityPurdue University Indianapolis and has completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. SPRINGS VALLEY BANK & TRUST COMPANY / French Lick Rob Apple has joined the bank as vice president and business banker serving Gibson, Warrick, and surrounding counties. He has more than 20 years of experience in commercial and retail banking. Apple’s community outreach includes serving as head coach of Indiana Fusion Elite Premier 14U travel softball team and as a board member of Play for Kate Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Evansville. FCN BANK / Brookville Joseph Alig has joined the bank as Batesville branch manager. He has 19 years of banking experience. Alig is treasurer of the North Dearborn Water Corp., president of the Bright Lions, treasurer of the Bright Area Business Association, co-owner of Alig Shell in St. Leon and a member of the Batesville YMCA finance community. He is a graduate of Indiana University. FIRST STATE BANK OF MIDDLEBURY James Martindale has joined the bank’s Edison Lakes team as vice president commercial lender. He has 13 years of commercial banking and management experience, prior to which he worked in a family business. Martindale serves on the board of directors for A Rosie Place for Children and is a past board member of the Potawatomi Zoological Society and the United Way of St. Joseph County. He is a graduate of Bethel College. Ian King has been promoted to an officer position. Experienced in consumer loans, business development and home equity lines of credit, he has been with the bank for four years and in banking for a total of eight years. King has earned a consumer lending certificate from the Indiana Bankers Association. He is a graduate of Indiana University-South Bend. Jamie Strycker has joined First State Insurance, a subsidiary of First State Bank, in the Elkhart office. He has 30 years of experience in personal lines of insurance. Strycker is a graduate of Anderson University.
