Hoosier Banker 55 COMMUNITY FIRST BANK OF INDIANA Kokomo Scott Hammersley has joined the bank as senior vice president and commercial loan group manager. He has 27 years of banking experience, both retail and commercial. Hammersley is active with Pelatonia/ One Goal-ride for Cancer research and the Marion County Commission on Youth, and he is a former ambassador for the Fishers Chamber of Commerce. A graduate of Ball State University, Hammersley is a member of the BSU Cardinal Varsity Club and Cardinal Football Alumni Association. Kim LaFollette has been promoted to senior vice president. She has been with the bank for 14 years and serves as director of retail banking. LaFollette is a graduate of Indiana University-Kokomo. Jonathon Malin has been promoted to vice president. He has been with the bank for nine years and serves as a commercial loan officer. Malin is a graduate of Indiana University East. Carlonda Davis has been promoted to vice president. She joined the bank in 2018 and serves as human resources manager. Davis is a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Migual Patterson has joined the bank as commercial lender. He has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry, including service as vice president with Salin Bank, vice president at BMO Harris Bank and relationship manager at First Merchants Bank. Patterson also was finance/credit and cash manager at Teays River Investments and assistant vice president in credit and middle market lending with Citigroup. His community outreach includes serving as chief financial officer for the Madison County Urban League. Patterson earned bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Purdue University. Zack Gabriel has been promoted to commercial loan portfolio manager and bank officer. He joined the bank in 2015. Gabriel is a graduate of Butler University. Kimberly Ford has joined the bank as assistant vice president and branch manager for Junction Crossing in Westfield. She has 15 years of banking experience in Hamilton County serving as branch manager and in small business development, investment sales and consumer lending. Ford most recently served for 10 years as director of operations and executive account manager in the commercial food service equipment industry. Tracy Herr has been promoted to assistant vice president. She has been with the bank for nine years and serves as accounting clerk. Herr currently is pursuing a degree from Ivy Tech Community College. Katie Crumley has been promoted to Hoffer Street branch manager. She has been with the bank for five years, serving as a financial service representative and as an assistant branch manager. Crumley’s community service includes Kokomo Urban Outreach and serving on the board of directors of Project Access.
