DEPARTMENTS Rod Lasley has been promoted to executive vice president-operations & member services of the Indiana Bankers Association, responsible for oversight of IBA business practices, member engagement and corporate communications. He continues to serve as president of the Association’s for-profit companies. Lasley joined the IBA in 2009 as member services representative and was promoted in 2012 to vice president-products & services. Among other accomplishments, he has helped establish a banking concentration at Purdue University Northwest, implemented the BankLEAD internship program and created the IBA Leaders in Banking Excellence awards. He also has grown two non-dues revenue programs – captive insurance pools and marketing packages – that help keep IBA dues among the lowest in the nation. Prior to joining the Association Lasley worked in banking for 18 years, the last three years as president and CEO of North Salem State Bank, an IBA member. In that capacity, he served on the IBA board of directors and was president of the IBA Future Leadership Division.
