HB Darrell Blocker, senior executive vice president and chief financial officer of Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company, French Lick, has retired after 15 years with the company. During his tenure, he oversaw the bank’s finance and accounting departments and served as treasurer and chief financial officer of SVB&T Corporation. Blocker had 30 years of banking experience, including 14 years at First Federal Savings Bank, Huntington, as senior vice president and CFO, and three years at Tower Financial Bank as vice president and controller. He is a past chairman of the Financial Managers Society, a member of the Indiana Bankers Association Financial Management Committee, past president of the Rotary Club of Huntington and the Rotary Club of Jasper, and served on the Dubois Strong Enterprise Loan Fund Board.
