Catherine Fanello has been promoted to partner in the public and municipal finance and litigation practice groups of Krieg DeVault LLP, Indianapolis. She joined the firm in 2013, prior to which she served with a South Bend law firm, as well as finance officer and deputy controller for Evansville, as Vanderburgh County Commissioner, and as city controller for South Bend. A certified public accountant, Fanello has 12 years of experience in public accounting and public finance. She serves on the board of Indiana Women in Public Finance and the St. Joseph County Election Board. Fanello is a member of the Indiana, Illinois, American and St. Joseph County bar associations, and she has been recognized the last three years as a Rising Star by Indiana Super Lawyers. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana and a J.D. from the Valparaiso University School of Law. Jae Evans has been named to the board of United Bankers’ Bank, Bloomington, Minnesota. He is president and CEO of Isabella Bank Corporation and CEO of Isabella Bank, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, as well as a board member of both organizations. He has more than 40 years of banking experience. Evans serves on the Safety and Soundness Committee of the Independent Community Bankers of America and on the boards of Community Bankers of Michigan and McLaren Central Michigan Hospital, and on the advancement board of Central Michigan University. He previously held board positions with EightCAP Inc. and Carson City Hospital, and he is past president of the Greenville Rotary Club. Evans is a graduate of Central Michigan University and of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
