She joined the bank in 1998 as a full-time teller and financial services representative, was promoted to financial services supervisor in 2001, and in 2007 was promoted to assistant vice president. In 2013 Jackson was promoted to vice president/financial services officer. She volunteers for Junior Achievement and previously served as Chamber secretary for the Kentland Area Chamber. Laura Barrett has been promoted to vice president of finance and assistant board secretary. She joined the bank in 2009 as an assistant financial services representative and teller. In 2011, Barrett was promoted to operations assistant and in 2017 was promoted to assistant vice president of finance. She is active in Junior Achievement and is a volunteer coach for youth basketball and softball. Barrett earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. Michelle Leach has been promoted to vice president, operations. She joined the bank in 2008 as operations assistant and in 2017 was promoted to assistant vice president, operations. She serves as treasurer on the board of directors for Prairie Arts Council and volunteers for Junior Achievement. Leach earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and is currently pursuing a degree from Western Governors University. Drake Babcock has been promoted to assistant vice president of lending. He joined the bank in 2017 as a commercial loan officer. Babcock serves as president of the Newton County Extension Board, president of South Newton Young Farmers and secretary/treasurer of the Newton County Fair Association. He is a member of the Kentland Rotary Club and is a volunteer for Junior Achievement, South Newton FFA chapter and Indiana FFA. He earned an associate degree in agricultural economics and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education. David R. Moulton has joined the bank as vice president/business development manager. He has more than 10 years of retail/commercial banking management and lending experience, seven years of experience in commercial property/casualty insurance and employee benefits, 10 years of managing a family-owned civil engineering/survey company, and eight years as a private investor in commercial real estate/equities/oil and gas. Moulton is past president of the Lafayette School Corporation board of trustees and a member of the school board. Additionally, he is active with Lafayette Redevelopment Commission and Lifetime All American, John Purdue Club. Moulton is a graduate of Weber State University. Reagan Bennett has been promoted to human resources manager. She joined the bank in 2018 as assistant credit supervisor and in 2019 transitioned to the human resources generalist role. Bennett is active with Junior Achievement, the Head Start program in Goodland and the parent support group at Milford Grade School. She earned a bachelor's degree from Metropolitan University of Denver. BANKERS ON THE MOVE JACKSON COUNTY BANK / Seymour Bret Kroger has joined the bank as retail real estate lending officer in Bartholomew County. He has four years of experience as a mortgage originator. Kroger is an affiliate member of the Crossroads Association of Realtors, a board member of Choppers for Coppers benefit ride, and is involved with the Hope Ride. He previously served as a member of the Hope Heritage Days board of directors, on the advisory board for Circle C 4-H Horse and Pony, and as a volunteer with A First Christmas at The Ridge. Kroger also worked for The Republic newspaper for 14 years. Megan Grunden has joined the bank as retail real estate loan officer. She has 12 years of mortgage and banking experience. Grunden is active with organizations including the Jennings County Board of Zoning Appeals, Jennings County Young Professionals, Seymour Chamber of Commerce and the Schneck Foundation. Veronica Barnard has joined the bank as a credit analyst. She is a recent graduate of Purdue University. In 2019, she completed a credit analysis internship with a local financial institution.
