Hoosier Banker 27 HONORABLE MENTIONS Marvin S. Veatch, president and CEO of Jackson County Bank, Seymour, has joined the board of directors of Bankers’ Bank, Madison, Wisconsin, an associate member of the Indiana Bankers Association. Veatch was named to his position in 2017 and also serves as president of Bancorp of Southern Indiana. Additionally, he has served the bank as chief operating officer and chief financial officer, and currently is a member of the bank’s holding company and subsidiaries. Veatch began his career at Crowe LLP. He is a member of the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and of the IBA Government Relations Committee. Veatch is a graduate of Anderson University. Bankers’ Bank is an IBA associate member. CJ Clingler, compliance specialist at Community First Bank of Indiana, Kokomo, has earned designation as a certified anti-money laundering specialist by the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists. She joined the bank as a compliance assistant in 2019, prior to which she worked in commercial and agricultural credit analysis, as well as accounts receivables compliance. Clingler is a graduate of Ball State University. Craig Buse, senior executive vice president and chief lending officer of Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company, French Lick, has joined the southern loan committee of the Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corporation. Buse has been with the bank for 18 years. The Indiana Statewide CDC is affiliated with Cambridge Capital Management Corporation, an IBA associate member. Bryan Traylor, senior vice president of residential lending, Centier Bank, Merrillville, has been appointed president of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association board of directors, on which he has served for four years. He joined Centier Bank in 2013 as vice president, mortgage sales manager, and in 2016 was promoted to his current role. Traylor has served as vice president of the Zionsville Town Council, Zionsville Safety Board and Zionsville Police Commission.
