The Indiana Bankers Association hosted its second annual mid-summer intern event on July 17 in virtual format. The purpose was to offer networking opportunities to banking interns around the state and provide them with industry insights. Because of COVID-19 restrictions and considerations, the event was conducted via Zoom conference call, with virtual break rooms emulating small group meetings. Interns who joined the event had the opportunity to network with interns from other banks, hear from the IBA team on the role the Association plays in supporting the banking community, listen to presentations from industry leaders, and interact elecThe 2020 mid-summer intern event hosted by the IBA took place virtually.
