Van Sickel has been promoted to executive vice president-operations/ technology. He joined the bank four years ago and has more than 35 years of banking experience. He has work experience with organizations including IBM, Bank of America and First Niagara Financial Group, for which he served as chief information officer. Koul previously served as a board member of the Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology and of the FAIR Institute, as well as a technology committee board member for the Roswell Park Cancer Institute. He is a graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and Science. Kate Seaman has joined the bank as vice president, private banker, South Bend and southwestern Michigan markets. She has more than 20 years of banking experience, primarily in Treasury management, and volunteers for the United Way of Southwest Michigan and the Berrien County Community Foundation. A certified Treasury professional, Seaman is a graduate of Michigan State University and attended the Cannon Financial Institute for Private Banking. COMMUNITY FIRST BANK OF INDIANA / Kokomo Calee Ozminkowski has been named assistant vice president, training coordinator/retail support specialist in the human resources department. She most recently served as branch manager at the Dixon Road location and has nine years of banking experience. Ozminkowski serves as a board member for the Salvation Army, as a mentor for Bridges Outreach and has completed the trueU Leader in Training program. Virgil Kessler has joined the bank as vice president, Dixon Road branch manager. He has been in banking in Kokomo and surrounding communities since 1989, serving in areas including regional branch operations management, human resources, corporate training, benefits administration and branch management. Kessler attended Indiana University-Kokomo. Michael McCulloch has joined the bank as vice president, commercial lender in Kokomo and the greater Indianapolis area. He previously served for 12 years as a vice president of commercial lending for two Indiana banks and has more than 20 years of commercial banking experience in central Indiana. McCulloch is a founding member and board member of Elevate Indianapolis, a board member of the Indiana chapter of the American Lung Association, and additionally has been active with Free to Breathe, Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Center for Leadership Development. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Evansville and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. STATE BANK / Brownsburg Andy Pinegar, senior commercial lender, has been named Carmel/ Hamilton County market president. The title is in anticipation of a spring 2021 branch opening in Carmel, to be the bank’s first location in Hamilton County.
