While much of the content may be practical, wouldn’t it be nice to access a single webpage that provides concise information for Hoosier bankers, with real-life examples of leadership from those who have walked in your shoes? The Future Leadership Division of the Indiana Bankers Association has organized content specifically for FLD members who are interested in growing their leadership ability and overall career skills. Through the FLD area of the IBA website, members can access the “FLD Spotlight Opportunities” webpage for a one-stop source of pertinent leadership content. FLD Spotlight Opportunities keeps you updated on relevant IBA events and leadership development opportunities, including the IBA Leadership Development Program, IBA Emerging LeadersA Digital Program and more. Additionally, a number of webinar opportunities are available through IBA training partners, pertaining to leadership and other skills to help you grow professionally. Advocacy is also highlighted on the FLD Spotlight Opportunities webpage because of its value to bank leaders at all levels. Events such as the IBA Annual Washington Trip, Legislative Briefing and Reception, and FLD Day at the Statehouse can help bankers engage in advocacy while getting to know banking peers. Other networking benefits, for example the FLD Coffee Club, are included on this webpage. The FLD Spotlight Opportunities webpage is updated monthly to spotlight a few of the most useful leadership articles, podcasts and videos for emerging bank leaders available through a variety of sources.
