Hoosier Banker 25 Dan L. Moore has retired as CEO of Home Bank, Martinsville, after 43 years of service with the bank. He joined the organization in 1978 and has served as vice president, chief operating officer, president and CEO. He continues in his current capacity as chairman of the board. Moore also serves as chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis and, at the national level, as chairman of the Chair/ Vice Chair Committee of the Council of Federal Home Loan Banks. He additionally was an appointee to the Mutual Institution Advisory Board of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Other affiliations include Hoosier Voices for I-69, the executive committee of the First United Methodist Church of Martinsville and directorship for Stability First. Moore is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association 40 Year Club and was named to the inaugural class of IBA Leaders in Banking Excellence in 2018. He is a graduate of Indiana State University and the School of Executive Development, earned a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, and has served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Indianapolis. Robert M. Branaman has retired as executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Peoples Bank, Brownstown, after 42 years of service. He continues to work part-time as a consultant. Branaman joined the bank in 1978 as electronic data processing manager and later was promoted to vice president and trust officer and to executive vice president and CFO. He serves on the boards of directors of the bank and of TPB Bancorp. Additionally, Branaman is a member of the Medora Community Lions Club and Medora Lodge No. 328 F&AM, among other activities. He previously served as first vice president of Jackson County Industrial Development Corp. and as a member of the Medora Community School Corp. board of trustees, the Schneck Medical Center Foundation and the Bedford Medical Center Foundation. Branaman is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association 40 Year Club. He studied at Indiana University and Liberty University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Dee Ann Hammel has retired as senior vice president and chief operating officer of First Federal Savings Bank, Huntington, after 45 years of service. She joined the bank in 1975 as a customer service representative and since has served in all areas, primarily managing operations and overseeing the compliance function.
