Hoosier Banker 53 BANKERS ON THE MOVE CROSSROADS BANK / Wabash Jennifer Whetstone has been promoted to consumer lending officer. She joined the bank as a consumer lender in 2019. Whetstone previously worked at Kerlin Motor Company as finance and insurance manager, prior to which she served at another financial institution as a mortgage and consumer lender, underwriter and trainer. She is a member of Tri Kappa Sorority and a certified financial coach. Whetstone is a graduate of Ball State University. Jarrod McKee has been promoted to president of the investment center, where he has been serving as an adviser since 2010. Active in the cystic fibrosis community, he has been recognized for his volunteer efforts. McKee is a graduate of Indiana University and an accredited asset management specialist. HOME BANK / Martinsville Lisa Arnold has been appointed president/CEO. She joined the bank in 1985 and most recently served as president and chief operating officer. In addition to various community affiliations, she is a member of the Alumni Council of Franklin College, a past member of the Indiana Bankers Association Board of Directors and former president of the IBA Future Leadership Division Advisory Board. Arnold earned a bachelor’s degree from Franklin College and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Additionally, she is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the ABA National Commercial Lending School. Melissa Fisher has been promoted to senior vice president/chief operations officer. She joined the bank in 2008, most recently serving as senior vice president/chief administration officer. Fisher is a graduate of the Indiana Bankers Association Leadership Development Program, the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the trueU Leadership Program. PREMIER BANK / Defiance, OH Gary M. Small has been named CEO and president of Premier Financial Corp. and Premier Bank, effective March 31, as well as a member of the boards of directors. He most recently served as president of the bank, a position he was appointed to in January 2020, along with being named to the board of the holding company. Small was named president and CEO of Home Savings and joined the board of United Community Financial Corp. in 2014, bringing more than 28 years of industry experience. Additional experience includes positions as senior executive vice president-chief banking officer for S&T Bank in Indiana, Pennsylvania; chief operating officer for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc.; EVP-head of regional banking for Sky Financial Group; EVP-regional bank group president with Huntington Bank; and various senior operating and financial roles with Merchants National Corp. Jennifer Bidlingmyer has been promoted to senior vice president, Treasury management sales director. She joined the bank in 2012, filling various leadership roles in Treasury management and retail/business banking. Bidlingmyer most recently served as Treasury management sales team leader. She has nearly 20 years of banking experience. Among other community activities, Bidlingmyer is treasurer of the Barberton Community Foundation. She is a certified Treasury professional and a graduate of the University of Akron. Shannah Markley has joined the bank as branch manager, Fort Wayne Dupont Road office. She has eight years of industry experience, most recently serving as assistant manager of a regional bank headquartered in Michigan. Markley volunteers at hospitals and local schools, with particular interest in financial education.
