Hoosier Banker 55 THE PEOPLES BANK / Brownstown Bryan Stahl has been promoted to senior vice president/chief operating officer. He joined the bank in 1997 and has served as IT manager, assistant vice president, vice president and operations officer. Stahl has served as a member of the board of the Jackson County Visitors Center, among other areas of community service. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana and of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Julie Cornett has been promoted to senior vice president/chief financial officer. She joined the bank in 1994 and most recently served as internal auditor/compliance officer. Cornett is a graduate of the University of North Dakota. Brian Sommers has been promoted to senior vice president and chief lending officer. He joined the bank in 1989 and has served as branch manager, assistant vice president, vice president and senior loan officer. Sommers has 41 years of banking experience and has been affiliated with the Fairview Cemetery board. He has completed the School of Mortgage Lending and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Jamie Grinstead has been promoted to assistant vice president/data center operations/IT systems administrator. She joined the bank in 1999 and has worked in account services. Grinstead most recently served as IT systems administrator. She has been active with Phi Beta Psi Sorority and the White River Valley Cemetery board. GREENFIELD BANKING COMPANY Michael Graf has been promoted to executive vice president. Additionally, he has been elected to the board of directors. Gina Holzhausen has been promoted to senior vice president of wealth management. Bryan Miller has been promoted to senior vice president of lending. HORIZON BANK / Michigan City Lynn Kerber has been promoted to executive vice president, senior commercial credit officer. She joined the bank in 2018 with more than 25 years of experience in commercial banking, credit administration and risk management. Recognized as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in West Michigan by the Grand Rapids Business Journal, Kerber is a YWCA Tribute Award honoree and Inforum West Michigan Inner Circle recipient, among other honors. She earned bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Western Michigan University and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Todd Etzler has been promoted to executive vice president, general counsel. He joined the bank in 2017 with more than 25 years of legal experience in private practice and as corporate general counsel. Etzler earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a JD from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Darla Leathermon has been promoted to assistant vice president/compliance officer. She previously served as loan review officer. Leathermon joined the bank in 1990. THE FARMERS BANK / Frankfort Kathy Ledman has been promoted to branch manager, Mulberry office. She joined the bank in 2018 as branch manager of the Rossville office and continues in that capacity. Ledman has 19 years of financial services experience, previously serving as a teller, vault teller, customer service representative and assistant manager. STAR BANK / Fort Wayne Brian Miller has been promoted to chief financial officer. He has 12 years of experience in audit and systems administration. Miller has been with STAR Bank for seven years, most recently serving as corporate controller and additionally working in IT roles including technology integration manager and information security officer. Previously, he worked at Urban Outfitters, Philadelphia, as a senior business planning and consolidation analyst and as a senior financial auditor. Miller serves on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and is a certified public accountant. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. Trent Dowling has been promoted to regional president of commercial banking. He has 23 years of experience in banking, including 16 years with STAR, serving Anderson, Muncie and surrounding communities. Among other activities, Dowling is in board or officer roles with The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, Hopewell Center, Meridian Health Services and Anderson Revolving Loan Fund. He is a graduate of Ball State University.
