Gene Miles, prior CEO of the bank, has transitioned to serving as president and CEO of First Farmers Financial Corporation. Dr. Holt earned a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Purdue University in 1985. He practiced full-time for 30 years, mostly at the Kem Road Animal Hospital in Marion. In 1997, Holt joined the board of directors of First Farmers Bank & Trust, and in 2015 he joined the bank full-time. OLD NATIONAL BANK / Evansville Kendra Vanzo has been promoted to senior executive vice president. She joined Old National in 1994, prior to which she worked for NACCO Materials Handling Group, Danville. Vanzo is board president of ECHO Community Healthcare and a board member of the Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District. Additionally, she volunteers for United Way and has been a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Vanzo earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana, and she has participated in the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Executive Education Program and the Tuck Leadership Program. Vanzo was named Ogletree Deakins Human Resources Professional of the Year in 2017 and received the Indiana Torchbearer Award in 2018. PREMIER BANK / Defiance, OH Shannon Kuhl has joined the bank as executive vice president, chief legal officer. She has 22 years of banking and legal consulting experience, primarily at First Financial Bank, Cincinnati. Kuhl most recently served as a member of the corporate practice group and financial institutions services group at Frost Brown Todd LLC. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and a JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. NORTHWEST BANK / Warren, PA Kyle Kane has been named executive vice president and chief human resources officer. He has 25 years of experience in human resources within multifaceted global organizations, most recently serving as vice president of global human resources for Diebold Nixdorf in Ohio. Previously, Kane served as senior vice president and head of human resources for global business services at Fidelity Investments, supporting employees across India, Ireland and China. He is a graduate of Stonehill College.
