He has more than 20 years of transformative technology experience in the regional banking sector, most recently serving as chief information officer with M&T Bank. Chandhok serves on the board of directors for the Buffalo Center for Hospice and Palliative Care. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and additionally completed leadership programs at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. David Sparacio has joined the bank as senior vice president, chief accounting officer. He has 25 years of experience in financial services, most recently serving as director of accounting operations for IBERIABANK, later acquired by First Horizon Corp. Sparacio serves as a colonel in the Finance Corps of the U. S. Army Reserve. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans, an MBA from Loyola University New Orleans and a master’s degree of strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College. Jennifer Scroggs has been named senior vice president, director of Premier Wealth. She has more than 15 years of experience in wealth management in addition to a background in law. Scroggs most recently served the bank as senior vice president, director of trust/chief trust fiduciary officer. She is a board member for Toledo GROWs and the University of Toledo Foundation, and a member of the Toledo Bar Association and the Toledo Estate Planning Council. Scroggs earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a JD from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. BANKERS ON THE MOVE BANKERS ON THE MOVE HOME BANK / Martinsville Ryan Taylor has been promoted to assistant vice president. He joined the bank in 2017 and has served as a mortgage loan officer, Mooresville branch. Taylor is a member of the boards of the Barbara B. Jordan YMCA, the Jackson Center for Conductive Education and the Mooresville Redevelopment Commission. Additionally, he is president of the Mooresville Kiwanis Club and head coach for the Martinsville freshman boys basketball team. Taylor is a graduate of Earlham College. MERCHANTS BANK OF INDIANA / Carmel Linda Hill has joined Merchants Capital, an affiliate of Merchants Bank, as senior vice president in the tax credit equity syndications division. She has 25 years of experience working with top syndicators, most recently serving as a senior executive within the tax credit group at Aegon Real Assets, prior to which she was senior vice president of originations at Alliant Capital based out of Los Angeles. STATE BANK / Brownsburg Trula DeWald has joined the bank as vice president, retail and business development manager for the new Lafayette banking center, opening in late 2021. She has more than 20 years of community banking experience within the Lafayette market, including retail management and commercial banking experience. DeWald is a volunteer for Gleaners Food Bank and a past board member and volunteer for Junior Achievement in Lafayette. She is a graduate of Purdue University.
