Hoosier Banker 57 THE FARMERS BANK / Frankfort Donna Howell has joined the bank as senior vice president, chief operations officer. She has 18 years of banking experience, most recently serving as chief revenue and customer experience officer at First Financial Bank. Previously, Howell worked for six years at Q2, headquartered in Texas. In the community, she supports Ascent 121. Howell is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. She additionally is a certified Treasury professional and has completed Six Sigma Black Belt training. Kim Compton has been promoted to senior vice president, chief strategy officer. She joined the bank in 2016 as vice president of information technology/operations and was promoted in 2017 to senior vice president of information technology/operations. Compton has worked more than 20 years in banking, with experience in operations, technology, project management and process improvement. A graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, she has earned the designation of project management professional and is certified in technical writing. Stephanie Buntin has been promoted to senior financial analyst. She joined the bank in 2002 as a retail loan administrative assistant and later served as a senior credit analyst. In 2016 she was promoted to comptroller. Buntin serves the community as president of the Zonta Club of Frankfort and as coordinator of Reading Champions for the Community Schools of Frankfort. Janis Braner has joined the bank as Lebanon branch manager. She has 20 years of financial services experience, beginning her career as a teller. Braner has served FIRST BANK OF BERNE Jayde Sills has joined the agribusiness banking team in the Bluffton branch, serving the greater Wells County area. She most recently worked in seed sales after prior experience with ag equipment. Sills is a graduate of Purdue University. FIRST FINANCIAL BANK, NA Terre Haute Jim Winning has been named commercial lending officer. He has more than 20 years of banking experience. Winning’s community involvement includes service as commiswith Huntington National Bank and KeyBank, NA, and additionally has worked for Lebanon Utilities. Nick Jennings has joined the bank as assistant branch manager, Fishers office. He most recently served as an assistant branch manager with a credit union in Tennessee.
