Nearly 65 participants logged into the event, with interns from 12 IBA-member banks represented. The event was IBA’s third annual summer convening event for interns. The 2019 event was held in person, the 2020 gathering was virtual, and this year the IBA is offering the event in both formats. The in-person event is Learn, Engage and Develop BankLEAD scheduled for July 23 at the IBA offices. These offerings are for any interns affiliated with IBA-member banks, including those taking part in IBA’s BankLEAD internship program. IBA is working with the Indiana banking community to promote internships as a way to help build the next generation of bankers.
