Dwight is chairman and CEO of Horizon Bank, Michigan City, as well as chairman of Horizon Bancorp. He joined the bank in 1979 and was promoted to president in 1998, chairman and CEO in 2003, and chairman of the holding company in 2013. Dwight has been active with organizations including the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Michigan City Aviation Commission, Michigan City Economic Development Commission, Purdue North Central, Chicago Federal Reserve Bank, One Region and the Northwest Indiana Regional Opportunities Council. Additionally, he has chaired fundraising campaigns for the United Way, Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Club, Martin Luther King Center, Michigan City Area Schools and the YMCA. Dwight previously served on the Indiana Bankers Association Board of Directors and is a member of the IBA 40 Year Club. He is a graduate of Indiana University. Clay W. Ewing is corporate president and secretary of German American Bancorp Inc. and president and chief banking officer of German American Bank, Jasper. Additionally, he is designated to be named vice chairman effective Jan. 1, 2021. Ewing began his banking career in 1978 and joined German American in 1994. He has served in leadership with organizations including the Bank Administration Institute, Leadership Perry County, Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana, Perry County Community Foundation, Perry County Development Corp., Perry County United Way and Tell City Jaycees. As 2018 chairman of the Indiana Bankers Association, Ewing initiated efforts to establish collegiate banking studies in Indiana and to create an IBA-led statewide banking internship program. He is a Sagamore of the Wabash, a member of the IBA 40 Year Club, and a graduate of Lockyear College and the School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin. William W. Harrod, president and CEO of First Harrison Bank, Corydon, began his banking career in 1978. He served with Harrison County Bank, Mutual Trust Bank and Louisville Trust Bank before joining First Harrison Bank in 2000 as chief operating officer. Harrod’s community leadership includes past service as: president and chair of the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce; founding member and chair of Leadership Harrison County; founding member of Habitat for Humanity of Harrison County; chair of United Way of Harrison County; and board member of Blue River Services Inc. Additionally, he was 2001 chairman of the Community Bankers Association of Indiana, which later merged with the Indiana Bankers Association, and he is a member of the IBA 40 Year Club. Harrod is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. WILLIAM W. HARROD First Harrison Bank Corydon CHARLES E. ISCH First Bank of Berne Charles E. Isch retired as president and CEO of First Bank of Berne in 2010 and as a director in 2015. He served his full banking career with First Bank of Berne, joining in 1964 as a teller. Isch is past president of the Berne Chamber of Commerce and was named Berne Citizen of the Year in 2009. He has served in leadership capacity with organizations including the Muensterberg Plaza and Clock Tower project, Swiss Village Inc., Berne Community Development Corp. and Habitat for Humanity. Isch twice served on the board of the Indiana Bankers Association and once on the board of the Community Bankers Association of Indiana, which later merged with the IBA.
