Wihebrink retired as chairman of Logansport Savings Bank and Logansport Financial Corporation in 2013, leaving a strong succession plan as part of his legacy. He joined the organization as a board member in 1991; and he was appointed president, CEO and chairman in 2000. Wihebrink began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick LLP; later worked for Smith, Thompson, Wihebrink & Co. Inc. for 15 years; and from 1988 to 2000 served with T.M. Morris Manufacturing Co. Inc. as vice president and chief financial officer. He supported the community through leadership positions with the North Central Indiana Workforce Investment Board, Logansport Cass County Chamber of Commerce, Neal Home retirement community, Logansport Economic Development Foundation, Cass County United Way, and the United Way and Cass County Family Y in Logansport. A certified public accountant, Wihebrink is a graduate of Ball State University. Class of 2021 Plaque Inscriptions David B. Becker is chairman and CEO of First Internet Bancorp and its subsidiary, First Internet Bank of Indiana, Fishers. He founded the bank in 1999, and it became the first state-chartered FDIC-insured institution to operate exclusively online. Becker is a founding board member and first chairman of TechPoint, and additionally supports the Indiana Technology and Innovation Association, TechPoint Foundation for Youth, Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, Central Indiana Community Foundation and Central Indiana Corporate Partnership. A champion of education, he presently serves on the board at his alma mater, DePauw University, and previously held board positions at Indiana and Vincennes Universities. A Sagamore of the Wabash, Becker’s accolades include the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, TechPoint Trailblazer in Technology Award, Junior Achievement of Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame and the Lifetime Achievement Award from College Mentors for Kids. Richard E. Belcher founded First Federal Savings Bank, Rochester, out of the back of a grocery store in 1966 and today serves as chairman and CEO. His leadership includes service as 198586 chairman of the Indiana League of Savings Institutions, which later merged with the Indiana Bankers Association. In 2021 Belcher donated more than $3 million to multiple Fulton County nonprofits, culminating an estate plan created with his late wife, Suzanne. Belcher has been named Rochester Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Citizen, Northern Indiana Financial Entrepreneur of the Year, and he and Mrs. Belcher together earned the Rochester Community Service award and the Purdue University President’s Council Pinnacle award. In 2008, he spearheaded construction of the first LEED-certified bank branch in Indiana. A member of the IBA 40 Year Club, Belcher is a graduate of Purdue University and a veteran of the U.S. Army. RICHARD E. BELCHER First Federal Savings Bank Rochester MARK S. FOGT Garrett State Bank Mark S. Fogt is longtime president and CEO of Garrett State Bank. His career began in 1974 with The First National Bank of Findlay, Ohio, and he advanced through other Ohio institutions before joining Inter-Community Bank in New Jersey as president and CEO. Since joining Garrett State Bank in 1993, Fogt has served multiple organizations including the Garrett Museum of Art, Junior Achievement, Dekalb Memorial Hospital, Judith Clark-Morrill Foundation, Rotary Club and Garrett Heritage Days. He was 2002 chairman of the Community Bankers Association of Indiana, which later merged with the Indiana Bankers Association, and he is a member of the IBA 40 Year Club. A Sagamore of the Wabash, Fogt has been inducted into the Dekalb County Business Hall of Fame.
