BANK ANNIVERSARY In celebration of the bank’s 145th anniversary in June, employees of The Farmers Bank, Frankfort, teamed up in groups of two for a “Pay It Forward” campaign. Each team was given $145 to “pay it forward” to organizations in need in the communities the bank serves. Employees were asked to be creative by purchasing items and personally delivering them, rather than simply giving cash or gift cards. Employees could also combine teams to make more impactful donations. In total, employees gave $8,115 to 21 local organizations.
