Our services include: BANKING CENTER NEWS Owen County State Bank, Spencer, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 13 to celebrate the opening of its new branch located at 215 N. Washington Street in Bicknell. The Bicknell branch is the bank’s eighth branch in the counties of Owen, Monroe, Greene, Lawrence and now Knox. Kentland Bank held a groundbreaking ceremony on June 17 to mark the beginning of the construction of its new branch in downtown Kentland. The building is being erected behind the current location that was built in 1960. The new branch will be a 5,000-squarefoot facility hosting four tellers and a teller pod system. Construction was scheduled to begin in early 2020, but plans were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Once the new branch is ready for occupation, the current building will be demolished to make way for a parking lot. K4 Architecture + Design, a Preferred Service Provider of the Indiana Bankers Association, is the designer of the structure.
