HB #BetterInBanking Flyer Available IN MEMORY OF Norman Kay Connell, 81, retired president, CEO and board member of Citizens Bank, Mooresville, died July 10. He joined the bank in 1961 and served as president and CEO from 1975 until his retirement in 2001, after which he continued to serve as a director until 2009. Connell was on the boards of civic organizations including the Mooresville Lions Club, Mooresville Chamber of Commerce, Mooresville Library Board, Mooresville Revitalization Group, Mooresville Redevelopment Commission, Mooresville Nature Club, Kendrick Memorial Hospital and Kendrick Foundation. He attended Indiana University and Indiana Central College, and he was a graduate of the School of Banking Administration at the University of Wisconsin and of the American Banking Association Commercial Lending School.
