He has several years of financial accounting experience, most recently serving as corporate cash manager for Steak ’n Shake Inc., prior to which he was in various accounting manager and financial analyst roles with Protective Insurance and Anthem. Kaufman volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and serves as Housing Corp treasurer, Hanover College chapter. Kaufman earned a bachelor’s degree from Hanover College and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Austin Hoover has joined the bank as trust investment officer. He has prior financial service industry experience, having served as an account manager with Direct Connect Logistix and as financial relationship banker with Huntington National Bank. A graduate of Wabash College, Hoover has Series 6, 63, and Indiana insurance licenses. Greg Clapp has been promoted to vice president/ investment officer. An accredited asset management specialist, Clapp earned bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Bradley University. Jayse Dunn has been promoted to mortgage loan officer. She joined the bank in 2019 as escrow administrator and most recently served as mortgage loan processor. Dunn is secretary of the bank’s junior leader council and is active with 4-H. She is a graduate of Purdue University. LOGANSPORT SAVINGS BANK Chad Higgins has been promoted to president and CEO. He joined the bank in 2010 as chief financial officer. Higgins previously served with Logansport Memorial Hospital as CFO for four years. He has been active with Area 5 Agency on Aging and the Logansport Housing Authority, serving both organizations as president, and he is a member of the boards of Logansport Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Logansport Economic Development Foundation. Higgins earned bachelor’s and MBA degrees from the University of Southern Indiana. Maureen Prentice has been promoted to executive vice president, chief operating officer. She previously was senior vice president, compliance/BSA officer. Prentice joined the bank in 2010 and has served as compliance officer, internal auditor and BSA officer. She has 35 years of banking experience. Prentice serves on the editorial board of the American Bankers Association Compliance Magazine and the board of Cass County YMCA. She holds designation as a certified community bank compliance officer and certified community bank internal auditor. Michael H. Shropshire has been promoted to chief credit officer. He previously served as senior credit analyst. Shropshire has been with the bank for 11 years and additionally has served as vice president, commercial banking. He has 35 years of experience in the banking industry. Shropshire is a graduate of Indiana University. REPUBLIC BANK & TRUST COMPANY / Louisville, KY Logan Pichel has been promoted to president and CEO. He previously held title as president. Additionally, Pichel has been elected to the boards of directors of the bank and of Republic Bancorp Inc. Steve Trager has transitioned from chairman and CEO of the bank to executive chairman of the bank and Republic Bancorp Inc. He retains the position of CEO of Republic Bancorp Inc. and continues to lead the boards of both the bank and holding company. Sandra Brant has been promoted to branch manager of the Kirklin and Michigantown branches. She joined the bank in 2017 as the Marsh branch supervisor, and most recently served as assistant branch manager at the Frankfort main office. Brant is a board member of Frankfort Main Street and treasurer for the Community Schools of Frankfort Building Trades Program. She is a graduate of Indiana University-Kokomo. Brittini Fairclough has joined the bank as assistant branch manager at the main office. She previously served as a member service representative, account specialist and supervisor at a credit union.
