The board consists of juniors and seniors from four area high schools. In September, junior board members visited Gutwein Popcorn in Francesville. Owner Harvey Gutwein led students on a tour that showcased the robotic packaging area, outdoor kernel bins and other operational features. In October, junior board members met at the Whistle Stop Restaurant in Monon with Jan Faker, senior constituent liaison in the Rochester office of U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski. Faker shared business etiquette tips, reinforced with information packets and role-playing exercises.
