Anderson has joined Spry as president, with company owner Jeff Williams retaining title as CEO. Anderson has extensive experience in operations management, business development and growth strategies. UNITED BANKERS’ BANK / Bloomington, MN Rachelle Nelson has been elected to the board of directors. She is president, CEO and a board member of the First National Bank of Milaca in Minnesota and has 17 years of commercial lending experience. Nelson has completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin and is active with the Minnesota Bankers Association. BANKERS’ BANK / Madison, WI David Gremillion has been promoted to first vice president-bankcards. He joined the company in 2018 in the bankcards department as operations manager. Joe Hauser has been promoted to senior vice president, director of internal audit. He joined the company in 2017 as an internal auditor and was promoted to director of internal audit in 2020. Kevin Means has been promoted to senior vice president. He joined the company in 2013 in the commercial lending department and has led the Bankers’ Bank United Way Campaign. Paul Watson has been promoted to first vice president. He joined the company in 2020 in the commercial banking department, Indiana market, and has been serving the central Indiana banking market for 32 years. Rian Uelmen has been promoted to senior vice president, director of human resources. She joined the company in 2020 as director of human resources. Uelmen previously served in in human resources with Entegral-Enterprise Holdings. Scott Platto has been promoted to first vice president and controller. He joined the company three years ago and has been serving in the accounting department. HB CeAnn Weaver, marketing and administrative assistant, First Bank of Berne, has retired after 50 years of service. She joined the bank one week after her high school graduation, serving in bookkeeping, and since has worked in nearly every department. Weaver’s responsibilities have ranged from managing the bank’s Swiss Days Race to maintaining shareholder records to creating newspaper and radio ads. She is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association 40 Year Club. Dwayne Hostetter, chief lending officer of Farmers and Mechanics Federal Savings and Loan Association, Bloomfield, has retired after 44 years in banking. Before joining the bank four years ago, he served for 40 years with Bloomfield State Bank. Hostetter has served in various lending roles and is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association 40 Year Club. TAKING IT EASY Jeff Welty, president and CEO of Home National Bank, Thorntown, has retired after 37 years with the bank. He was named president and CEO in 2001. Welty remains in service as vice chairman of the board. He is a graduate of Indiana University and of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. HB
