HB BANKING ON COMMUNITY Home Bank, Martinsville, donated $105,000 from January through March to six local nonprofits as part of the bank’s community gifting program. Donations were $15,000 to Family Promise, $20,000 to Susie’s Place, $20,000 to Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County, $20,000 to KIC-It, $20,000 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace and $10,000 to the Morgan County Coalition for Literacy. Home Bank’s gifting program donates 10% of the organization’s net income to nonprofits in its markets. First Bank Richmond made the following contributions from February through April, in addition to contributions previously announced in the May/June Hoosier Banker: $5,000 each to Wayne County Historical Museum, Hope House, Cope Environmental Center, Civic Hall Performing Art Center, Sunrise Therapeutic Riding Stable, Elks Parkinson’s Golf Tournament and Shelby County Fund For You – SCUFFY Program; $7,500 to Girls Inc.; and $10,000 to Ivy Tech Community College.
