He is president/CEO of Northeast Indiana Works and has nearly 20 years of experience in education and workforce development. O’Neal joined Northeast Indiana Works as chief operating officer in 2010, was promoted to president in 2017, and was named to his current position last year. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, a master’s degree from Texas Christian University and an MBA from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Erin Whittle has been named to the board of directors of STAR Bank, Fort Wayne. She has been serving as president and founder of Whittle Strategic Accounting since 2013 and has more than 20 years of public accounting and nonprofit leadership experience. Whittle has served on the board of directors and two committees for PBS39 in Fort Wayne, on the board of Courageous Healing and as an Indiana chapter member of the Jaylon Smith Minority Entrepreneurship Institute. Additionally, she is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Whittle earned bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Indiana UniversityPurdue University Fort Wayne. Doug Wood has been named to the board of directors of STAR Bank, Fort Wayne. He is chief administrative officer, senior vice president of Sweetwater and has more than 30 years of experience in banking, finance and accounting. Wood’s community involvement includes board service for the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, Junior Achievement Foundation and the Park Foundation. He previously served as board chair for Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne and for Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana. Wood earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and an MBA from Western Michigan University. Michelle Dials has joined the board of directors of Logansport Savings Bank. She is creative director of Existential Media LLC and has prior work experience with Ivy Tech Community College and the Logansport High School speech team. Dials is a past event chair for Logan’s Landing and a past board chair of the Logansport-Cass County Chamber of Commerce, which named her 2016 Business Woman of the Year. Additionally, she has been recognized with the Kathy Dingo Spirit of Logansport Award. Dials is a graduate of Indiana University. Derreck Parkevich has joined the board of directors of Logansport Savings Bank. He is CEO of the Cass County Family YMCA. Parkevich earned a bachelor’s degree from Earlham College and a master’s degree from Ball State University. Jeffrey D. Stanton has joined the board of directors of Logansport Savings Bank. He is an attorney in private practice with 31 years of experience. Stanton serves on the boards of the Cass County YMCA and Cass County Historical Society, and he is a member of the Indiana and Cass County bar associations. Stanton is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law.
