Prame most recently served as executive vice president and CEO of community banking of First Midwest Bancorp Inc., which he joined in 2012. Previously, he held senior level retail bank positions with RBS Citizens Bank, Colonial Bank, CitiMortgage and Fifth Third Bank. Prame earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Joe Kirsch has joined the bank as market president for central Indiana, Indianapolis office. He has 28 years of financial experience, with roles including regional president, market executive, private banking and wealth management, retail and small business lending. Kirsch has been named to the Indianapolis Business Journal Forty Under 40 list. He is a former travel baseball/basketball coach, former board member of the Jordan YMCA and a founding champion of the Indianapolis chapter of Conscious Capitalism. Kirsch has a bachelor’s degree from Butler University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, earned designation as a wealth management specialist, and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending. Kenneth A. Whisenton has been promoted to senior community development officer, overseeing the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act, fair lending, and diversity and inclusion outreach programs. He joined Horizon Bank in 2021, prior to which he was an analyst with a northwest Indiana construction company and an intern at the Indiana General Assembly. Whisenton serves on the boards of the ECIER Foundation and the bank’s Community Development Corporation, and he is a liaison for multiple municipalities and housing authorities. Bradley has 37 years of experience in banking and Treasury management in both business banking and middle market segments. He is a graduate of Indiana University and the Barret Graduate School of Banking. Tera Gilbert has been promoted to vice president, personal trust officer, Auburn office. She joined the bank in 2000 as a senior trust administrator and most recently served as assistant vice president, personal trust officer. Gilbert volunteers for Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana and the Carroll High School PTO. She is a graduate of the Indiana Institute of Technology and is licensed in Indiana life, accident and health insurance. Chelsea Brandt has joined the bank as trust relationship manager. She has 10 years of financial industry experience, including service as a teller, service manager, personal banker, branch manager and district manager. Brandt has been active with the Northwoods United Way board of directors and the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce in Wisconsin. She attended Michigan State University and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Melissa Diaz-Rosario has joined the bank as bilingual branch manager of the Whiting location. She has previous experience as a credit union branch manager and is a former small business owner and Hispanic retail consultant. Diaz-Rosario is active with the People’s Turkey Drive, Sojourner Truth House and Save the Girls. She is a graduate of Calumet College of St. Joseph.
