Gregerson, president and CEO of The Farmers Bank, Frankfort, has announced plans to retire in September 2023. She joined the bank in that role in 2016. Gregerson began her banking career in Marion after graduating from Ball State University and served as STAR Bank’s chief financial officer before moving to The Farmers Bank. She earned a master’s degree from Indiana Tech and is a certified public accountant. Gregerson was the first female director elected to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, where she currently serves as vice chair. She was honored by the Indiana Bankers Association as Woman of the Year in 2020, inducted into the IBA 40 Year Club earlier this year, and recognized by BankBeat magazine as an Outstanding Woman in Banking in 2016. Gregerson will remain a member of The Farmers Bank board after retiring as president and CEO. Mark Fogt, president and CEO of Garrett State Bank, has announced plans to retire Dec. 31. He has served in that position since 1994 after joining the bank in 1993 as executive vice president and chief lending officer. Fogt began his 48-year career with the First National Bank of Findlay, Ohio. He also served with The First National Bank of Sidney, Ohio; The National Bank and Trust Company, Wilmington, Ohio; The Provident Bank, Cincinnati; Belmont County National Bank, St. Clairsville, Ohio; and Inter-Community Bank, Springfield, New Jersey. A member of the Indiana Bankers Association 40 Year Club, Fogt was honored as an IBA Leader in Banking Excellence in 2021, chaired the Community Bankers Association of Indiana in 2002, was named a Sagamore of the Wabash in 2002 and has been inducted into the DeKalb County Business Hall of Fame.
