David Paxton has been promoted to senior vice president, risk management solutions. He joined the company as first vice president, business solutions in early 2022. Paxton has more than a decade of community banking experience, most recently at Amalgamated Bank of Chicago, and another 10 years as a commercial banker in Washington, D.C. Paxton earned a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University. James “Jim” Kluck has been promoted to first vice president, risk management solutions. He will be responsible for the management of the bank’s asset liability management and enterprise risk management solutions. Kluck has been with the company for five years, most recently as vice president, asset liability management. He earned a master’s degree from Marquette University and is a certified managerial accountant. CRA PARTNERS / Memphis, TN Steffani Jenkins has joined the company as CRA liaison and business development officer. She will focus on helping banks understand how Community Reinvestment rules and regulations apply to them, and how best to serve their communities while fulfilling their federally mandated CRA obligations. Jenkins earned a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. CAMBRIDGE CAPITAL MANAGEMENT CORPORATION Indianapolis The Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corporation, managed by Cambridge Capital Management Corporation, has been ranked by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the state’s top lender of popular SBA 504 loans for fiscal year 2022, ending Sept. 30. Its 58 loans valued at a cumulative $39.3 million represent nearly 30% of all SBA 504 loans last year by the state’s five CDCs, and establishing a new record for annual loan approvals in its 40-year history. She also provides services through the firm’s art law practice. Before joining the company, she was a summer associate with the firm and clerked in the advisory division of the Indiana Attorney General’s office. Doering is an active member of FORTE, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s young professionals group. She earned both her bachelor’s and her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame. Parker E. Lawton has joined the firm as a partner. With prior experience co-managing a private equity investment company, he advises businesses through a variety of legal challenges associated with secured lending, commercial finance, corporate structuring, governmental regulation and employment issues. Lawton’s practice focuses on transactional representation but he also has substantial litigation experience. He is a graduate of Tulane University and earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. Jeffrey L. Ledbetter has joined the firm as an “of counsel” in the firm’s financial institutions practice. He has been advising financial institutions for 35 years. Ledbetter has been actively involved in the American Financial Services Association, where he previously served as chair of the law committee for two years and the law committee’s mortgage lending subcommittee for many years. He earned his bachelor’s degree at The Pennsylvania State University and J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. Alexus D. Lucas has joined the firm’s business, estate planning and personal services, and financial institutions practices. She primarily works on regulatory compliance issues, mergers and acquisition transactions, securities matters and other general corporate matters. Before joining the company, she served as a summer associate with the firm and a family case manager for the Indiana Department of Child Services. She is a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis, and earned her J.D. from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law in Bloomington. Laurie A. Martin Montplaisir has joined the firm as a partner. She has more than 20 years of experience in factoring, asset-based lending, commercial lending, loan restructuring and workout and securitizations.
