Hoosier Banker 55 1ST SOURCE BANK / South Bend Andrea G. Short, bank president, was promoted to also be CEO effective Dec. 1. Christopher J. Murphy III will remain chairman of the bank, as well as chairman, president and CEO of the bank’s holding company, 1st Source Corporation. Short is an executive vice president of the holding company. She joined the bank’s tax department in 1998, working her way up the ranks as assistant vice president and tax director, senior vice president and controller, executive vice president and CFO before being named president and now CEO. Short earned her bachelor’s degree from Alma College, and is also a graduate of the University of Chicago’s Booth School Chicago Management Institute and the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. Kevin C. Murphy has been promoted to chief digital officer and executive vice president, as well as executive vice president of the bank’s holding company, 1st Source Corporation. Murphy interned with 1st Source as a customer service representative while in high school and college before officially joining the bank in 2006. He has served in multiple capacities since then, including IT web development, branch systems, Treasury products and chief information officer. He received bachelor’s degrees from both Wittenberg University and DeVry University, plus an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. HORIZON BANK / Michigan City Brooks Diller has been named the bank’s new market president of Fort Wayne. Diller joined the bank in 2012 as part of a bank acquisition, and has served as vice president and senior commercial lender since that time. He has more than 30 years of finance and accounting experience. He graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, earned a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and graduated from the Barret School of Banking. Cindy Kirkham has joined the bank as a senior community development officer. She has four years experience as a community development officer and a combined 11 years in residential title, and consumer and mortgage lending. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brown Mackie College and is currently a co-chair of Women United – United Way of LaPorte County, a board member of Horizon Bank Community Development Corporation, Near Northwest Neighborhood, and secretary of the board for the Southwest Michigan CRA Association. Barbara Maskew has joined the bank as trust relationship manager. She has more than 25 years of business development and management experience. Maskew is a graduate of Indiana State University. NORTHWEST BANK / Warren, Pennsylvania James Colestro has been promoted to executive vice president, retail lending and business banking. In his 15 years with the bank, he has previously served in several positions including management roles in the retail network and corporate retail lending departments. Colestro volunteers for CHA Animal Shelter. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Banking. FIRST INTERNET BANK OF INDIANA / Fishers Will Tinsley has joined the bank’s Small Business Administration Lending team as vice president, senior business development officer. Tinsley has previously worked at Bank United, Wells Fargo and, most recently, Gulf Coast Small Business Lending. He graduated from Coe College.
