Hoosier Banker 57 Steve D. Schumacher has been promoted to vice president, retail banking regional manager. He will lead the bank’s East Region retail team, which includes nine branch offices across five counties. Schumacher succeeds Bruce A. Wright, who retired from Lake City Bank after 24 years. Schumacher has 30 years of experience, including 20 with the bank managing the Auburn and Fort Wayne North offices. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Jordan D. Smith has been promoted to credit administration officer in the Indianapolis market. He will support commercial bankers by analyzing customer financial positions and completing loan submissions. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University, is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Indianapolis and volunteers at College Park Church. Justin Taylor has been promoted to assistant vice president, financial wellness and training officer. He will work with all the bank’s branches to provide Financial Wellness Partner Program workshops to businesses and educate bank employees on issues related to the bank’s core value of inclusivity. Taylor has been with the bank for four years and serves on its Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Marshall C. Weadick has been promoted to vice president, regional credit officer. He has been with the bank for eight years. Weadick earned his bachelor’s degree from LAKE CITY BANK / Warsaw Dan L. Beechy has joined the bank as assistant vice president, treasury management sales officer. He has worked in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years. Beechy earned a bachelor’s degree from the International Business College in Fort Wayne. He is co-treasurer for Cub Scout Pack 3300, president of Cameron Chase Homeowners Association and board member of Science Central, where he is also active in its finance and mixology committees. Beechy volunteers for Greater Fort Wayne Inc.’s Onboard Fort Wayne program and other local non-profits. Jillian M. Howell has been promoted to commercial documentation officer. She has been with the bank for 11 years. Howell volunteers with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, Junior Achievement and United Way. Jordan M. Bell has been promoted to assistant vice president, technology systems officer and manager. He has been with the bank for 10 years. Lindsay A. Justice has been promoted to loan systems support officer. She has been with the bank for five years.
