Hoosier Banker 53 Tessa Trigg has been promoted to assistant vice president, electronic services. She has 12 years of experience in electronic services and cash management, with 28 years of banking experience overall, including wealth management, business services and branch manager. Trigg earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-South Bend. Amanda Kindig has been promoted to banking officer, branch administration. With 21 years of banking experience including training and management, she manages retail deposit functions in all four regions of the bank. Kindig is a member of the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce and serves as an ambassador. Amanda York has been promoted to assistant vice president, Bank Secrecy Act officer. She joined the bank in 2019 as a trainee and has since held positions as audit liaison and, most recently, BSA assistant. York has served as secretary to the Board of Directors since July 2020 and also oversees shareholder relations. She received her associate degree from Lincoln College and bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University. SPRINGS VALLEY BANK & TRUST CO. / Jasper Brittany K. Merritt has been promoted to marketing specialist. Since joining the bank in 2018, she has served as a personal banker, universal banker and marketing assistant. Merritt attended Indiana University Southeast. She volunteers with CASA, is an ambassador for the Jasper Chamber of Commerce and member of the Indiana Bankers Association Future Leadership Division. HB FIRST STATE BANK OF MIDDLEBURY Dewey Miller has been promoted to senior vice president, commercial lender in the bank’s Goshen office. He has been with the bank for nearly 25 years and will now manage the business lending team in the Goshen region. Miller volunteers with Goshen Noon Kiwanis, Goshen Building Trades, Elkhart County 4-H Saddle Club and the Michigan Little Britches Rodeo. He is also the current treasurer for the Elkhart County 4-H Fair. Jim Neff has been promoted to senior vice president, commercial lender in the bank’s Middlebury office. He will manage the business lending team in the Middlebury region. Neff is the current board chair for the Middlebury Chamber of Commerce, serves on the board for Monno-Hof and is a member of the Goshen Rotary Club. 628 and volunteers with the Distinguished Young Women scholarship program, the United State of Women, the Kokomo Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council and the Kokomo CEO program. Tyler Smith has been promoted to bank officer, commercial loan portfolio manager. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University. Smith serves as the treasurer for the Family Service Association of Howard County and is a member of the Kokomo Y’s Men. Casey Zeck has been promoted to bank officer, human resources generalist. She has worked in financial services for 11 years. Outside of the bank, Zeck serves as a student mentor for Bridges Outreach. She graduated from Ivy Tech Community College, completed the Indiana Bankers Association Leadership Development Program in 2016 and has multiple banking certifications. Isaiah Foster has been promoted to assistant vice president, controller. He has been with the bank since 2018, previously serving in the trust and loan departments. He has been controller since 2020. Foster graduated from Purdue University and serves on the board of the Crawfordsville District Public Library.
