He joined the bank in 2021 after teaching and coaching at Whitko Community Schools and Huntington County Community Schools. Ogden earned a bachelor’s degree from Manchester University and a master’s degree from the University of Saint Francis. Trey Weber has been promoted to leasing analyst officer. He joined the bank first in a part-time capacity in 2015 before moving to full-time in 2017. Weber has served on the board for the Whitley County Economic Development Corporation since 2019. He earned a certificate in business administration from Ivy Tech Community College. FIRST BANK RICHMOND Melissa Matney has been promoted to senior vice president, commercial lending manager. She has 19 years of banking experience, including seven with the bank. Matney serves on the Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors and as a trustee for Ivy Tech. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Shari Adams has been promoted to credit analyst officer. She has 25 years of banking experience, including 21 with the bank. Adams earned two bachelor’s degrees from Milligan College and holds the CBCA (Commercial Banking & Credit Analyst) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute. Adam Blanton has joined the bank as fraud security manager officer. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Central State University and a master’s degree from Western Governors University. Angie Heitkamp has been promoted to internal audit specialist officer. She has 25 years of banking experience, including 11 with the bank. Heitkamp serves on the Wayne County 4H Fair Board and as treasurer for the Blue Angels Foundation. She earned an associate degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and holds the Tools for New Auditors certificate. HORIZON BANK / Michigan City Jim Parpart has been promoted to vice president, retail operations director. He has more than 30 years of experience in the finance industry, including 12 years with the bank, working his way up from branch manager and business banker to district manager. David Smitley has joined the bank as assistant vice president, senior business banker and branch manager. He has 25 years of experience in the finance industry since attending Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and the University of Mississippi. Smitley volunteers with the Concord Neighborhood Center. Jennifer Templeton has been promoted to personal banker. She joined the bank in 2021 as a customer service representative. Templeton is a board member and executive secretary for the Hamilton County Shepherd’s Center and a member of the Noblesville Kiwanis Sunrisers.
