John R. Stewart has joined the bank as executive vice president, chief financial officer. He has 22 years of financial services experience spanning banking, investment management and corporate finance; and leadership roles, including strategic planning, corporate development and investor relations. Stewart earned his bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and holds the chartered financial analyst designation. Robert Avery has been promoted to regional president of the bank’s Central Indiana region, effective April 1. He first joined the bank in 2020 as senior commercial lender, most recently serving as president of the bank’s Central Indiana market. Avery has 26 years of banking experience, including leadership roles in retail, small business, residential and commercial banking. Bruce Piekarski has been promoted to market president of the bank’s southwest Michigan and north central Indiana region, effective July 5. He started with the bank in 1981 as a management trainee and moved to other financial institutions before returning to the bank in 2006, most recently serving as commercial group manager. In total, Piekarski has spent 24 years with the bank. Grayson Fenwick has been promoted to vice president, commercial lending group manager. He has been with the bank since 2016, most recently serving as senior commercial loan officer, and has more than 20 years of financial services experience. Fenwick will complete the Graduate School of Banking at the University of WisconsinMadison in August. Susan Hargrove has been promoted to vice president, commercial lending group manager. She has been with the bank since 2013, most recently serving as senior commercial loan officer, and has more than two decades of experience in the financial sector. Hargrove is the immediate past president of the Indianapolis chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women. Joshua Stuckey has joined the bank as vice president, commercial loan officer with more than 25 years of banking experience. He started in banking operations in 1998 before transitioning to retail banking in 2002 and then business banking in 2017. Stuckey serves as director of athletics ministries for Our Lady of Grace Catholic School. He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana. Alexis Harris has been promoted to assistant vice president, Community Reinvestment Act officer. She joined the bank in 2018 as retail branch manager with more than 20 years of banking experience. Harris also has served as the bank’s CRA officer since 2022. She is an active member of the bank’s diversity business council. Cindy Kirkham has been promoted to assistant vice president, community development operations officer. She first joined the bank in 2022 and now has a total of eight years of community development experience, along with 13 years in consumer and mortgage lending. Kirkham serves as president of the United Way of LaPorte County’s Women United Committee, secretary of the Southwest Michigan CRA Association, is a board member for the Near-Northwest Neighborhood CDC and is a member of the bank’s community development corporation. Mya Roeun has joined the bank as funding manager with 12 years of experience in finance and accounting, including five specifically in equipment finance where she will be working. She volunteers with the Catholic Community, supports the United Way and serves as a board member for the Paradise Homeowners Association. Roeun earned an MBA from Globe University. Ted Roknich has joined the bank as enterprise risk management manager with more than 10 years of experience leading and managing risk-related banking initiatives.
