He joined the Association in August 2022 as assistant vice president – communications. Hoffmeyer is responsible for all the IBA’s print and digital communications, as well as media relations. He has four years of experience in association management after 12 years as a local journalist. Hoffmeyer co-chairs the government affairs committee of the Indiana Society of Association Executives and is a past officer of the alumni association board of directors for the University of the Ozarks, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. STAFF PROMOTIONS AT THE IBA The Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corporation celebrated its 40th anniversary in October. The organization is affiliated with Cambridge Capital Management Corporation, an IBA associate member. The ISCDC helps banks leverage loans for smaller companies by providing Small Business Administration 504 loans, which can give small-business owners long-term, fixed-rate financing similar to commercial loan terms available for large companies. The organization has approved nearly 1,700 loans totaling more than $845 million for companies in nearly every Indiana county over the past 40 years. Those projects total more than $2.1 billion in expansion for borrowers and have created or saved more than 30,000 Hoosier jobs.
