He started working at the bank in 1967, first as auditor, then controller, before being named executive vice president and director. He saw the bank through its transition to Ameritrust National Bank and then Society National Bank. The bank later merged with KeyBank, NA, Cleveland. Beach earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, where he participated in ROTC for four years and was named IU Distinguished Military Student in 1962. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army, where he served honorably for three years. After leaving the Army, he returned to IU for law school. Beach served his community in many ways, including as a president of the Indiana Bankers Association Region III, treasurer of the United Way, president of the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and a charter member of Partners in Education. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn, two daughters, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. JCBank, Seymour, has elected two new members to the boards of both the bank and its holding company, Bancorp. of Southern Indiana. Billy Bemis is co-founder and vice president of Bemis Group, a Johnson County real estate development and property management company, and co-founder and partner of Garment Factory Events LLC, an event center in Franklin. He is a past president of the Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce and a former board member of the Johnson County Development Corporation. Bemis earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Dr. Eric Fish is president and CEO of Schneck Medical Center in Seymour as well as president of two wholly owned subsidiaries of Schneck Medical Center: Health Development Corporation and Coordinated Health. He is also chairman of the Board for Inspire Health Partners and SIHO Holdings, Inc. Dr. Fish earned his bachelor’s from the University of Evansville, an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a doctorate of medicine from Indiana University. He has served on the boards of the Indiana Hospital Association, Indiana Rural Health Association, Jackson County Industrial Development Corporation, Community Foundation of Jackson County and is a past president of the Boys and Girls Club of Seymour.
