Community First Bank of Indiana, Kokomo, celebrated the grand opening of its newest banking center on Feb. 8. The bank’s Hamilton County Loan Production Office had been operating out of the space at 9998 Crosspoint Blvd. since June 2023, but it has now been expanded to offer full banking services. In keeping with tradition with all its grand openings, the bank presented a major community donation, giving the Hamilton County Executive Directors’ Group a check for $12,000 to put on a four-part nonprofit learning series in 2024 in partnership with the Hedges nonprofit consulting firm. Old National Bank, Evansville, opened its latest branch on the east side of Indianapolis in March. Located at 5620 E. 30th St. near Eastern Star Church, the location was chosen with input from community leaders, churches and local organizations to ensure it would be accessible, convenient to residents and businesses, and able to serve the area’s diverse community.
