Bippus State Bank, Huntington, broke ground on a new operations center on July 29. The two-story 15,000 square-foot location at 2871 Northpark Ave. in Huntington will include a community hub, multiple conference and meeting rooms, dedicated workspaces and outdoor seating. Designed by Design Collaborative, an IBA associate member, with general contractor FCI, the facility is expected to open in August 2025. In addition to traditional banking services, the location features a community room with a fully equipped kitchenette, and a third-floor balcony. Both spaces are available for booking by the public and outside organizations. Bank and community leaders gathered to cut the ribbon on the bank’s newest branch at 10880 N. STAR Bank, Fort Wayne, cut the ribbon on its new headquarters in downtown Fort Wayne in August. The seven-story North Tower spans more than 57,000 square feet with a second three-story South Tower providing an additional 23,000 square feet. The towers are connected by a 400-vehicle parking garage, all in the 200 block of W. Main Street in the heart of downtown. The Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission supported the $45 million project by entering into a long-term lease for the parking structure and upgrading the streetscapes around the building. Nearby locations, such as The Bradley Hotel and the Community Center, benefit from the additional public parking available in the garage.
