DEPARTMENT Bankers on THE MOVE 1ST SOURCE BANK / SOUTH BEND Jim Story has been promoted to vice president, private banking group manager for Elkhart. He has been with the bank since 2014 and has nearly 35 years of banking experience overall. Story has served on the boards of Junior Achievement of Elkhart County and Elkhart Rotary Club, and as treasurer of the Northridge Band Boosters. He actively volunteers with the United Way, Junior Achievement and his church. He graduated from Manchester University. Angela Daly has been promoted to assistant vice president, private banker. She is president of the Middlebury Boys & Girls Club’s board of directors and is a past board member and current volunteer for Junior Achievement. She is also involved with the Humane Society of Elkhart County and is the ambassador committee chair for the Goshen Chamber of Commerce. Daly was honored as the JA Volunteer of the Year every year from 2015-2019. She earned an associate degree from Indiana University South Bend. Shelly Babcock has been promoted to be an officer of the bank. A private banker with the bank since 2023, she has more than 10 years of banking experience. Babcock is a member of the Goshen Kiwanis Club, a board member for Saving Gracy Advocacy and volunteers with Junior Achievement and United Way. She is a licensed banker who holds Series 6, Series 63 and Life and Health certifications. CENTIER BANK / MERRILLVILLE Nicole Birmingham has been promoted to be an officer of the bank. She joined the bank in 2014 as a universal banker. Since then, she moved on to become a supervisor and branch manager. Birmingham belongs to the Crossroads Chamber of Commerce, is co-leader of the bank’s mental health and wellbeing employee resource group and is an advisory board member for the Chasing Dreams organization. CROSSROADS BANK / WABASH Missy Hartley has been promoted to assistant vice president of mortgage lending. She has been with the bank since 2016. Hartley has served on the boards of the Wabash County Chamber of Commerce, Wabash Valley Dance Theater and Wabash County Christmas Spirit. She is also a past member of the Wabash Rotary Club, Tri Kappa and the Parkview Wabash Hospital Foundation Gala committee. Kristin Cromer has been promoted to digital banking officer. She first came to the bank as a college intern in 2017, joining as a full-time employee in 2020. FIRST FARMERS BANK & TRUST CO. / CONVERSE Robert “Doug” Hill has joined the bank as vice president, senior commercial lender with nearly 40 years of experience. FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK / EVANSVILLE Jennifer Singleton has been promoted to senior vice president, senior operations manager. She has spent her entire 26-year career with the bank. Singleton volunteers with baseball-related activities for Harrison High School and the school’s Cardio for Canines program.
