2024 CPE Catalog & Member Guide

What To Wear Business casual attire is recommended for in-person courses. Because meeting room temperatures are difficult to control, we recommend dressing in layers to ensure comfort. Attendance Verification At the conclusion of in-person CPE events, a CPE attendance verification form will be distributed for all attendees to sign. The Nebraska Society office can only verify attendance if the form has been signed. All webcast courses use a form of online prompts during the broadcast for verification of attendance. CPE Credit All courses listed in this catalog have been submitted to and approved by the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy for recommended CPE credit. CPE certificates may be downloaded for each course attended through the “My CPE Tracker” at nescpa.org/my-cpe. The “My CPE Tracker” also allows you to download annual CPE transcripts at any time, and to include self-entered CPE courses to your transcript. Most noted among the rules is a four-hour ethics requirement for biennial license renewals (80 CPE hours) and reinstatements (120 CPE hours). The rules also clarify the number of CPE hours allowed for self-study, faculty, and college semester credit hours, and grant the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy the authority to request documentation from a permit holder for five years from the individual’s last reporting period.
