downloaded for each course attended through the “My CPE Tracker” at www.nescpa.org/my-cpe. The “My CPE Tracker” also lets you download annual CPE transcripts at any time, and to include self-entered CPE courses to your transcript. NEBRASKA’S CPE RULES The rules for Continuing Professional Education for Nebraska CPAs are located within Title 288, Chapter 8, of the State Board regulations, and CPE Guidelines may be viewed at nbpa.nebraska.gov under the CPE menu. Most noted among the rules is a four-hour ethics requirement for biennial license renewals (80 CPE hours) and reinstatements (120 CPE hours). In addition, 16 hours of self-determined Personal Development courses related to the CPA’s current employment may be reported. The rules also clarify the number of CPE hours allowed for self-study, faculty, and college semester credit hours, and grant the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy the authority to request documentation from a permit holder for five years from the individual’s last reporting period. If you have any questions about the CPE rules, contact the State Board at (402) 471-3595 or view the rules at nbpa.nebraska.gov. ELECTRONIC CPE MATERIALS The Society provides an electronic version of course materials at www.nescpa.org/my-cpe. Once e-materials have been downloaded, no cancellation, transfer, or refund will be available. SURVEYS Surveys will be emailed to all attendees after every CPE course and conference. The Society CPE Committee, instructors, and staff take your comments and concerns seriously, as we strive to provide you with high-quality, cost-effective education. You may also email kelly@nescpa.org with comments and concerns.
