Susan K. “Sue” Wilkinson, CPA, received the Lincoln Journal Star’s 2023 Excellence in Business Inspire Award, which celebrates women’s leadership. Wilkinson was recently appointed president and chief operating officer of Ameritas. In 2020, the Nebraska Society of CPAs presented her with the Outstanding CPA in Business & Industry Award. Andrew S. Young, CPA, is serving on the School of Accountancy Advisory Board at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a partner at RSM US LLP in Omaha. Richard G. “Dick” Zacharia was inducted into the Central High School Hall of Fame in Omaha in 2023. Now retired, Zacharia has been a prominent figure in Omaha accounting circles for decades, serving as the managing partner of Frankel Zacharia for 25 years. He also served on the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy for 10 years and received the Nebraska Society of CPAs’ Distinguished Service to the Profession Award in 2017.
